Danish government opens the Denmark Government Scholarships for several Higher Education Institutions. There are some participating institutions especially in education of Denmark, which grant the selected students with tuition fees. The students who already hold bachelor’s degree are able to continue the higher degree at master’s degree. They will study in Denmark for 2017-2018 academic years and the course starts in September 2017 or February 2018. The deadlines are also varying from March-April to September-October. Unfortunately, the numbers of the scholarships are limited. In other words, the candidates must be eligible and met the requirements.
The Denmark Government Scholarships are available for those who have high motivation and qualification across the world. The scholarships will grant the students to study at one of Higher Education Institutions in Denmark. For your information, one of the scholarships is also accommodated by the Danish Ministry of Education every year. The official institution will fund the students who live outside the European Union or European Economic Area. Then, the value of the scholarships varies from 6,000 to 16,000 Euro depending on the living costs of the selected candidates. It is enough to provide their living until they graduate for their master’s degree.
There are two types of Denmark Government Scholarships, which are offered this year. They are full and partial tuition fee. The candidates must have applied one of the full-time Higher Education Programme especially master’s degree in Denmark. Each scholarship is managed by individual higher education institution. - The candidates must come from outside the EU or EEA and Switzerland.
- They have applied or enrolled in a full-time Higher Education Programme of Denmark.
- They have granted a time-limited residence permit as long as their education or study in Denmark.
The candidates aren’t eligible to apply this scholars program if they are:
- Looking for an admission to an Artistic Higher Education Institution
- Living in Denmark and have legal claim as the citizen of Denmark
- A student who is qualified for a grant in accordance with Danish Law
- Have already been granted a residence permit at the time of admission by the Danish Aliens Consolidations Act §9c, subsection 1, which you can see on the official site
