The main aim of the Amsterdam Merit Scholarships is to draw some attention from the potential students all over the world in order to study at the best classroom in Amsterdam. Not only the students outside the Europe, but also the students from the European Economic Area (EEA) are able to send their applications to AMS. As we know, the developing countries really need to send their best students abroad in order to learn how to solve their own problem. Those students are expected to give many solutions for their countries.

The general eligibility of the Amsterdam Merit Scholarships is the one and only. It is also pretty simple if you live outside of European countries. It doesn’t mean there are no specific requirements from the faculty or course that you want to enroll. The eligibility is the candidate who holds a non-EU/EEA passport and has already registered for a degree program at the University of Amsterdam. Then, you can submit an application for the AMS. Then, you should meet the faculty’s entry requirements firstly. For your information, there are nine faculties that are eligible for the scholarships. It ranges from education, law, health, economy to science. Each faculty has its own deadline. Make sure you have read it and send your application before the closing date. We also provided the official website so that you can check each deadline on your chosen faculty. The course will commence in September 2017.
